Ed Corin, Nic Dudley,
and Borneo Brown with the Yamaha PM1D |
Showsound
were delighted to be asked, by Mice, to design the sound and to
crew two very large events for Compaq in Lisbon and Hewlett Packard
in Berlin. Alan (Whizz) Mathieson designed both events using DVDOS
in Lisbon and Meyer M2D in the 5000 seat ICC in Berlin. A massive
d&b C7 surround sound rig, Yamaha PM1D digital mixing console,
Pro tools and TiMax were used to create a truly unique experience.
Alan also designed the sound for the other 30 breakout rooms which
held between 30 and 2000 people. Showsound
were pleased to have the talents of Orbitals' creative director
Sebastian Frost working his magic with LCS in the main lobby as
well as 17 of the best sound engineers in the industry. Tim Lynn
was the Showsound senior production
engineer.
It
was a pleasure working with you and I hope that you will be available
for future Compaq (and indeed MICE) projects - Sarah Mathieson,
Executive Producer/Compaq Account Manager
