Our
Way of Working
Showsound provide skills and
experience in sound design and sound production engineering. The
company works predominately in the corporate presentation and live
entertainment sectors, focusing on the supply, installation and
operation of equipment designed to achieve the objectives of its
clients effectively and affordably.
Our
aim is to provide an unparalleled level of service to our clients,
that is tailored to meet their specific needs. We only work with
the very best staff who we know will work together as an effective
team and who will respond imaginatively and appropriately to the
requirements of the client.

Who
We Are
Tim
Lynn

|
Tim
began his theatre career as an ASM with the Orchard Theatre
Company in North Devon. Early in his sound work he mixed shows
such as Willy Russell's "Blood Brothers", and Dave
Clark's "Time". Later Tim spent eight years touring
with Cliff Richard as Stage Manager, including "The Event"
at Wembley. He has been a Sound Designer or Production Engineer
in every type of Theatre and Corporate Event, both in the
UK and internationally.

Simon
Taylor

|
Simon
began his Theatre career in the '80s. After working at the
Poole Arts Centre for five years he then successfully completed
an ABTT sound course at Paddington College, gaining experience
of different types of sound work, from rock bands to conference
and theatre. Simon now specialises in large exhibitions, including
the European Motorshow circuit for Ford, and is also working
on some exciting new ideas, especially in developing the illusion
of making sound appear from nowhere.

Alden
Brown

|
Alden
is a graduate of London University and brings administration
and business management skills to the Showsound brand. An
experienced company and people manager, Alden is a specialist
in business performance management and also brings knowledge
of sales and marketing to complement the specialist industry
experience of the other Showsound directors.
